MS Office Blues

I've been patient. I've bought licensed copies of the software (2 of them) BUT, I can't get security updates or any other updates because a client of mine loaded on a different version of Office (for purposes of consistancy) when I contracted with them. Now I have my original MS Office XP Standard, which I now just upgraded to MS Office 2003 Pro. When I went to do updates, I was amazed that it is still asking me for my MS Office XP Pro boot disk - which makes sense technologically, but isn't physically possible now so I'm stuck.

Tried to get support - heck, I'm about fifteen miles from the corporate offices - but the passport didn't work, and I've not gotten a response from the bulletin board post I made today.

This is one of those times when I miss the corporate PC-support team......
