6

Coachable today

Reps whose gap is skill rather than will or fit. These improve with coaching aimed at the specific competency that is missing.

2

Capable but mismanaged

Reps who would perform under different management or in a different seat. Usually the cheapest correction available.

2

Not coachable in this role

Reps who will not reach quota here regardless of investment. Knowing which two saves a year of payroll and management attention.

Questions we get

About the sales team diagnostic

What does the sales team diagnostic tell me?
It gives you a first read on the revenue your team is funded to produce and is not producing, and splits your reps into three groups: coachable today, capable but mismanaged, and not coachable in this role. It takes five questions and about three minutes, and the live panel updates as you answer.
How accurate is a five question diagnostic?
It is an estimate, not an evaluation of your people. The read applies the distribution we see most often in mid-market B2B teams, drawn from Objective Management Group data on more than 2.4 million salespeople evaluated as of 2026, where roughly 16% of sellers are true top performers. To know which of your reps sit in each group, every rep and manager needs to be assessed individually, which is what a ScoreCard Evaluation does.
Is anything submitted while I answer?
No. Nothing leaves the page until you choose to request the worked version. If you do, you get a two page statement built on your answers with every assumption printed so you can check it. Lori reads these herself and replies if the numbers look worth a conversation, typically within one business day.
Who is the diagnostic built for?
CEOs, owners and sales leaders of B2B companies who suspect the team could be doing more and want a number before they act. It fits teams from a handful of quota carrying reps up to about 150, and it is most useful when quota is being missed, hires keep failing, or pipeline looks full but little of it closes.
What happens after the diagnostic?
Three options. Request the worked version and talk it through with Lori. Run the Sales Hiring Mistake Calculator, a 15 question tool scored by Objective Management Group that works out what past hiring mistakes have already cost. Or move to a ScoreCard Evaluation, which replaces the estimate with measured data on each rep and manager and a plan for closing the gap.
