Setting the Course

I'm armed with my "list" book and am heading off for some inspiration at Compendium - the inspiration publishers based in my neck of the woods here in Seattle, WA. They write and edit great stuff. My feeling is that people need inspiration more than any one thing when it comes to selling.

They need to know what it is that they get up for in the morning and what it is that will cause them to make one more new contact or follow up with an old customer.

Once we have that solid foundation - we are unstoppable. So, think about it - what fires you up? What keeps you going?

Write it out - for the month, the quarter, and the year. Challenge yourself and set some goals in writing. Why? Because you can't improve what you don't measure. You need a roadmap to know where you are headed.

Get inspired.
