Author Anthony Parinello writes in an article called "6 Common Sales Myths" in Entrepreneur magazine, that 85 percent of the company leaders and entrepreneurs in America today were once salespeople.
"They carried sample cases, made cold calls, dialed for dollars, did product demonstrations and handled objections."
This point was in response to the myth that "selling is a dead-end opportunity" -- which couldn't be further from the truth. Once people realize that we are all selling, every day, then will some folks have an easier time with the wording.
