Selling Seattle

As a bit of a summer diversion, and to encourage some fun:

Two news items came up this week about my hometown, Seattle.
1. We are rated the 2nd "most literate" city in the U.S., behind Minneapolis, according to a University of Wisconsin study released today and reported by USA Today.
but,
2. We are also rated #8 as the "least navigable" cities - streets that start and stop, drawbridges, and other factors give us this title. Who is #1? The very "least navigable" is my last hometown, Boston. I'm not surprised at Boston winning this!! I love it there, but wow, lots of driving nightmares.

I wonder how the Chamber of Commerce spins this? It makes me think about how all of our products and services that we represent have their strong points and weak points. Making a list of strengths as well as the biggest objections is the first step in being realistic about your offerings.

We’ve got even more coming
