Q4 Begins...

For sales professionals, it's not just the first of October in a few minutes. It's the beginning of Q4, and today is the end of Q3. Big milestones for commissioned sales pros and those on some sort of a quarterly revenue achievement plan - thrill of victory for some, and the agony of defeat for others. Turnover happens after a quarter ends -- accomplishments haven't been achieved, promises seem broken, excuses can prevail (on all sides) but the fact remains that there is a disconnect between the executives in an organization and those pounding the pavement known as account managers, sales reps, biz dev guys, and more.

Here's to a strong Q4 for all my friends, clients and acquaintences in sales. Nothing happens till somebody sells something!
