Landing a New Sales Position

There is a great post from Chris Lytle who writes for Monster's ezine called Land a Sales Job Without Experience - Unlock Doors with these Seven Strategies.

Interviewing to get a good sales position is a bit different than getting other positions because any good CEO or sales executive will expect a lot from the candidate - after all, this person, if successful, will be representing their company to the public. If it were an accouting position, for example, presentation and attitude won't be as important. Chris has seven great points on landing a new job when you might not bring as much experience to the table as the employer is asking for. I particularly like the idea of getting someone to refer you, and I also agree that point two is critical - do your homework. Full article.
